Hi all,

Wombling by name, and by nature. Here via Tracy Smith (The Downshift Queen) and her Facebook link of about an hour ago! I'm more commonly known as Eco Treedweller, to the point of nearly forgetting my actual name... but I'm a tree fanatic, love being near them, under them, in them, looking at them... you get the idea (note I didn't say anything about hugging).

I've been growing my own veg and learning new crafts and skills for a few years now, I watch episodes of The Good Life repeatedly and strive for it continually, and have turned some of the make do and mend stuff into my day job. Yep, I'm an official Wombler! After being made redundant in June this year I started my own business, called Wombling, as a Community Interest Company.

This year I re-learned to knit, and have been on a woodwork course (wanting to use only hand tools). I bake my own bread, darn and repair my clothes, and I love learning, and bringing new things together, and would be interested to learn and share ideas with you all too.

Thanks very much for the nice welcomes. Lol @ Badger, 'Sale of the Century', right? Nicholas Parsons. Apparently I'm that old too. ;-)

Ha, three of us have got our names from books by the same author, not from the same set of books but we are three generations who have read these same books & our names actually work well with the generations represented in them...
