OK, now we come to the difficult part........
OK, now we come to the difficult part........
Labels!
Paper on the top under the ring? Sticker on the top? Paper on the sides attached somehow? Stickers on the sides? Printed cards with a string or ribbon? (great for giving, but not for storing)
The main interest for now is giving, but the date is important and a card would not last long in the fridge. We have little labels on the bottom for our own identifying, so that is not a problem.
Any ideas?

Well, there are white tape (masking tape) made specifically for freezer. You can write on them (get your caligraphy set for gift giving) and they hold up well in fridge and feezer. If it affects the aesthetic, place it on the bottom.

Well, after paying the cable bill the wife decided to go next door to Rose's Printing and search for labels. We found several packs of 2 1/4" sticker type, 100 sheets of 12. The wife asked the price and I held my breath as the guy went to ask...... $5.00!!!! We bought the only pack of white they had.
I joked with the wife that we only had about 1170 jars of jelly left to make!
Now to the designing phase........

My mother gave me a large bunch of sticker labels from her work place. THey are rectangular and often need to be cut, but they're free!
