Had this exciting info from Phil at Biobees this morning: First UK Natural Bee Keeping Conference 2011

Sunday February 13th at 10pm GMT/4pm EST - Part One of a world-wide, on-line, two-part Introduction to the Art and Craft of Top Bar Bee Keeping.
Entry numbers are restricted to 100 places (which being snapped up - so act fast) and may be secured by making a donation. There will be opportunities to ask questions, either before or during the event.Part Two will be at the same time on the following Sunday 20th February.

"Friends of the Bees and the Natural Bee Keeping Trust are pleased to announce the First Ever UK Natural Bee Keeping Conference over the first weekend in August - 5-7th August.

This will be a great opportunity for all 'natural beekeepers' to get together and share their experiences, learn from others and show off their bright ideas - all under canvas in the delightful county of Worcestershire.

We are hiring the country's most experienced (21 years) open-air conference organizers to provide the facilities, and the most knowledgeable speakers will be there to give of their wisdom!

If you are already practicing, or thinking of taking up any variant of 'natural beekeeping', you need to be at this event!"

Oooo that venue is really close to me.

Even if I can't get to the conference I would hope to meet up with anyone going!
