Hello from Bedfordshire

Post by Ian on 29th June 2011, 9:48 am

Hello from Bedfordshire. My name is Ian. We run a B and B and massage and beauty salon (Aldwyck Wood) in a village just outside Bedford. We have a 10 acre smallholding which is mainly down to 10 year old trees but we do have a good old orchard and an acre of allotment, tunnels and glass houses. Try to be self sufficient in the fresh food department but this year have been badly affected by the lack of water and a huge influx of moles which are leaving most of the plants roots hanging in mid air.

Have come from the ACL forum which is taking a holiday and am glad to be here.

Ian
