Well done JG!

You don't see so many customers coming out of LIdl with stacks of single use carriers because they charge 5p each. (And they don't give you time to fill carrier bags at the check-out!)

I went to work on Thursday morning and on the way home deicded to stop off at Sainsbury's as I needed eggs and some other bits. On the bus I realised that I hadn't got a bag with me so I hd to get a plastic one Embarassed

And I cannot tell you how many cotton reusable ones I own. It's jsut being organised enough to make sure there is always one in my (3) handbags. To add insult to injury, I put my hand in the pocket of my raincoat yesterday and discovered I had a cotton one in there - and I'd been wearing the same coat the previous day, but had forgotten the bag was there from when I was at Cropredy.

But it made me think. If one of the "converted" can't remember cotton-bags, how am I going to convert others?

Something "Freudian" happened in the the typing of this post. My keyboard stuck and I ened up with a whole line of Embarassed Embarassed

I use fabric bags most of the time, & even the OH has a thin bag that he tries to remember to put in his pocket.

Just use lots of evocative adjectives when you can't think of the proper word. In primary school, adding detail like that for young writers they call using "yummy" words, lol.

I try and keep a couple of bags in the car, one in my handbag and a couple in the bottom of LMC's buggy too. Hard to aways remember - but that shouldn't be an excuse!
