Hello from Durham, England

Post by RuthG on 21st September 2011, 11:19 pm

Found this site while researching for a free forum setup as I am in the process of starting my own forum and will hopefully soon have a website to go with it.

Meanwhile, I am keen on all things green and ecological and we (me and OH) are looking to move shortly to where we can have a smallholding and be as self sufficient as possible. We would ideally like to have an ecologically sound house, where everything is sustainable, including the building materials, which would mean building our own home, with enough land for permaculture gardening and animals. I already belong to a few sites like this one that each have different slants on the green issue - in fact, I have seen Hairyloon on one of them (cant remember which one though, sorry Embarassed )

Anyway, Hi to everyone - look forward to getting to know you all. Very Happy
