Re: Recycling Christmas
Just had a reply back from our local council recycling department, who tell me that they do accept silicone release paper in with the paper recycling (in case anyone wants to know).

I found this link last night (I thought I really ought to do something with the pile of stamps which had been gathering dust since December!)

Does anyone know anywhere that takes plastic bottle tops, we have a black bag full as my sons school were collecting them for a charity but have stopped as the teacher organising it left

Gail, as far as I know, Lush collect them so if you have a Lush shop nearby you can take them there

Re: Recycling Christmas
Lush certainly we collecting plastic bottle tops a little while ago.
I've had a bit of a rebellion over the last couple of days and whilst tidying up have to admit sweeping bottle tops, milk bottle foils and various other things into the bin. I just haven't the energy to sort them all out and wash them.
i'll get over it and normal service will be resumed as soon as possible.

Gail - it's been ages!!
We take ours to Lush, but we don't have a branch very near, we leave it for when we go to Worcester or Cheltenham which means we have a good six months' worth. The Lush employees are trained to be bright and cheerful, so they always sound enthusiastic when I unload my bagful of tops, but it's far too much for the little cardboard container they provide in the shop so I'm not sure if I'm being a nuisance!
