I think spring is in the air GB, I spent 3 hours oiling my kitchen cabinets today, just for the sheer need for some change and renewal - can't wait to get sowing seeds and germinating new life.

The thought of my seeds sitting waiting for me to plant them makes my stomach hurt. SOOOOOO much to DOOOOOOOOO!

We had a lovely moment today in the front yard. Last year my daughter rescued a very young black racer (non poisonous snake) from our snake killing cat. It lost its tail but was other wise unharmed. So today we see it again! Its just at about three ft long, still has no tail and is fast as lightning.

That is soooo cool!

And still no explanation to my disappearing chicken. Went to box up the three Polish hens and there were only two of them! No feathers, no blood, no upset in the flock, no holes in pen, no nothing! Just gone chicken Shocked so only got $25 for the pair instead of $40 for the trio Rolling Eyes And worst of all, I dont know how to bolster my defenses as I dont know what got it and how!

Of course, they were the only ones to fly so perhaps someone in the neighborhood has this crested chicken and are trying to figure out where it came from but as they are "Not Allowed!" in my town, I can hardly go door to door looking for it Laughing

Hi all I'm sorry that I've not been in for a bit but with lossing both my Dear older Brother in june and my Dear Mother in December last year and I'm still finding it very hard to come to terms with.
But apart from that things are not to bad they could be a lot worse???
How have you all been??
I could do with a nice cuppa as I've got a rotten cold and I've been told by my DD2 that I have to stay in, But the sun is out and I could do with an airring.
Take care all

An airing sounds just the thing, Nick B. A bit of sun at this time of year really does lift the spirits. Sometimes spirit lifting needs all the help it can get.

Sunny here too, very mild and NOT RAINING. And, I've finished my only job for the day, so Yeeee Ha it's out in the garden for me.
