Hello,

Karyn here. I received an invitation from Compostwoman to stop on in. What a nice place.

A quick bit about me, I live with my husband, 2 grown sons and my granddaughter here on our farm, Lizzy Lane Farm, in the woods of New Hampshire, US. We have 2 registered Haflinger horses, a lazy beagle and several barn kittens.

I spend my days at home with the day to day activities of the farm. Gardening, caring for the animals, cooking, cleaning, baking and preserving. In my spare time I love to knit and crochet, but my heart has a special place for embroidery these days.

I have to get lunch going now but will be back with a cup of tea to have a better look around. ❤

Karyn

Welcome from France LizzyLane Farm. I got here from a Compostwoman invite too - she's been a busy woman.

BTW - Can I swap your lazy beagle for our lazy cat? Rolling Eyes

Yes she is busy and sweet too.

Does this cat like mice, or is it to lazy to chase them and just eat the cheese off the traps?

Well - put it like this. A few days ago a small mouse found it's way into a squashed can in the recycling bin. I offered said mouse in a tin to the aforementioned lazy cat who, after opening one eye to see what was disturbing his beauty sleep, promptly closed it and went back to sleep Rolling Eyes

Ah' just as i suspected Smile but I bet the kitty is very cute while sleeping. So did the mouse go on it merry way then?

Our lazy beagle, Dalton will always open both eyes if he thinks there is food involved, but not for much else.

Welcome, I always thought a Haflinger was just a small offroad vehicle from the 70s , I will have to look up that breed.
