Most of you have probably already spotted this in Lakeland but thought I'd post it just in case. I doubt they'll stay on the shelves for long and once gone they won't be stocking them again so if you've ever fancied having a go at making your own flour blends now's the time to grab one:

linky

I picked up one today thanks to your link on FB, Carol.

It doesn't look the sturdiest or the most capacious hopper I have seen, but on the other hand the price is a fraction of most so a no-brainer really.

Badger, I'll buy one and send it over if you like, but I am sure you can get them cheaper than the postage would be in Canada. All my American friends seem to have fab ones for 40 bucks or so.

Corona is very similar to the old Porkert one isn't it? I have one of those too - the hopper on that is very large by comparison but as you say for the price it's a no brainer. Serious about the spare by the way, I deliberately bought an extra because I knew someone would probably want one.

I bought a massivo one in Slovakia a couple of years back - almost certainly a Porkert - but it always gets left behind when we come back because of the weight - it weighs about 4 kilos and our luggage is always well over limit anyway with all the boar and foie gras and so on.

I like the way you prioritise Billy. They are beasts aren't they? I have the size 32 mincer/sausage mill and can barely lift the darned thing.
